This exceptional fully Belgian bred ewe is one of the most consistent breeders at Dooley and is dam to several of our show and sale toppers.

These include Dooley Malik, a Clovis son which was male champion at the Royal Show in 2009 and was sold to Andrew and Becky Bishop for 4900gns at Carlisle in the same year.

She is also dam to Dooley Leena, a top breeding ewe by homebred sire Dooley Jasper and also to Dooley Pretal, a full brother to Dooley Malik which was used as a lamb and will be offered for sale this year in Carlisle.

Last year she was flushed to Jeff V/D Musschen, with a ewe lamb from this flush, Dooley Ravenelle,  being champion lamb at the English National Show this year.

Luggsmill Delila is one of a number of great breeding Luggsmill females in the flock. She is dam of Dooley Jasper, sire of Dooley Leena. Jasper is renowned for breeding great length, weight for age and deep gigots. He has sired Dooley Malena which stood first at the Royal Show and first and reserve breed champion at Great Yorkshire in 2009 as a shearling ewe.

She is also dam to Dooley Kress, a full brother to Jasper which was sold to Colin Roots and sire of the breed champion at the Royal Show in 2009.

Aside from these three great ewes a number of other Luggsmill ewes we’ve bought in have been exceptional breeders and have all left some great males and females. In particular they’ve clicked very well with Clovis and we regard the resulting progeny, including Dooley Karen, as some of the best we’ve bred at Dooley.

We hope to found some new and exciting families from the ewes we imported last year from the Musschen flock of Wilfred and Jurgen Dupuyt.
